What microneedling is actually for
It's a texture and tone treatment. We'll be straight with you about what it will and won't fix.
- Targets texture, fine lines and the look of scarring over a series
- Performed by a licensed registered nurse in a medical setting
- A realistic plan at your first visit - how many sessions, what each costs
- If it isn't the right treatment for what's bothering you, we'll say so

Who performs your treatment
Licensed medical professionals
Every treatment here is performed by licensed medical staff — not rotating junior techs. In medical aesthetics, who holds the needle is the decision, so we tell you before you book, not after you are in the chair.
Questions
Who performs the treatment?
A licensed registered nurse, in a licensed medical setting.
How many sessions will I need?
It's usually a series, and the number depends on your skin. You'll get your exact plan and its exact cost in writing at your first visit.
What's the downtime?
Expect mild pink, like a light sunburn, for about 24 hours. Gentle skincare and SPF only for a couple of days.
Will it fix everything?
No - and we'll tell you that up front. It's strong on texture and tone. If your goal needs a different treatment, we'll point you there.
How do I prepare for microneedling?
For about a week beforehand, ease off retinol and strong exfoliating acids and avoid heavy sun or self-tanner on the area. Come with clean, bare skin, and let us know about any recent breakouts or a history of cold sores so we can plan around them.
What should I do afterward?
Keep it gentle for a couple of days - a mild cleanser, plenty of moisturizer, and SPF whenever you're outside. Skip makeup, saunas and hard workouts until the pink settles. You leave with written aftercare at your visit.
Do I pay anything to book?
No. Booking takes no card and no deposit - nothing is charged online. You pay the $249 new-client intro at your visit.
Is it suitable for darker skin tones?
Because it works by creating tiny channels rather than by heat, microneedling is generally well-tolerated across a range of skin tones. We still assess your skin first and will tell you honestly if a different treatment fits your goal better.
